Megan, a beacon of commitment and integrity, joined the Demetree Global family in January 2023 as our Real Estate Accounts Payable Manager. Her odyssey in real estate accounting began shortly after her graduation from Edgewater High School in 2008, interning at NAI Realvest. Under the tutelage of her mother and the watchful eye of seasoned professionals, she honed her craft, rising through challenges with grace and determination. Megan’s narrative is not just one of professional growth but also of personal triumph, as she embraced motherhood with the birth of her first son at the tender age of 20, and in the span of her 11-year tenure at Realvest, her family blossomed with the addition of three more children.

With a career underpinned by family values and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Megan's story resonates deeply with the ethos of Demetree. Her daily pursuit of fiscal precision and problem-solving within real estate accounting is nothing short of a strategic ballet, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial heartbeat. Megan's approach is methodical and spirited as she adeptly finds funds, rectifies coding quandaries, collaborates closely with her VAs, and constantly seeks innovative ways to enhance our systems.

Beyond the balance sheets and accounts, Megan’s life is rich with the joys of family. Her children and husband are the nucleus of her world, her ultimate passion, and her source of energy. This dedication extends to her personal aspirations, where she dreams of further academic achievements in accounting, a goal driven by a desire to inspire her children and embody the principle that any challenge can be surmounted with patience and dedication.
